Our Classic RUDDER Workshops:
The purpose of these workshops is to have builders introduced to kitplane-assembly with professional guidance and support. The workshops get you started on the right track, setting the stage for a successful project. For those who have never built a plane before, our rudder workshops provide an ideal opportunity to sample the assembly process - before ordering a complete airframe kit: you'll know by the end of the workshop if you enjoyed the process and are ready for more!
We begin all our workshops with a quick tour of Zenair's production facilities next-door; you'll be able to look-in on this 40-year-old fully-operational kit-manufacturing facility throughout your stay with us. Bring a bag-lunch and comfortable shoes; see below for additional information on how to best prepare! You can choose the rudder tail section of any of the Zenair kit aircraft designs (i.e. ZODIAC CH 601/650, STOL CH 701/750. etc.), and learn about:

Standard two-day rudder workshops - Best for groups
With this workshop, participants will be able to confirm that assembling a kit aircraft is indeed the type of project they are looking for. This 2-day workshop set the standard for today's very popular similar program offered at the Zenith Aircraft factory. It's a very easy and effective way to start your own plane project: You'll have your first completed component by the end of the workshop (the rudder); if you did not enjoy the experience, there is no further commitment whatsoever to continue. We offer these workshops throughout the year. Call or e-mail for dates, reservation details and/or for a registration form. Special one-day rudder workshops - Best for individuals
One-day workshops are designed for busy people who cannot attend one of our regular two-day events. You'll be working under the guidance of our builder-assistance providers throughout the project; this one-on-one assistance will ensure quick results and top-notch quality. The only down-side of this program is that you'll miss-out on meeting other builders who share your interests; these peers often have different questions and experiences that can enrich your own experience. The biggest advantage of the one-day workshop is that it can be scheduled to meet your personal calendar. We typically start these intensive educational workshops at 7:30AM and work all day, until done! |
